Company History Lars Valentin and Bodo Baumgart, the managing directors of  ,
Inc., met while working as freelance Sun-Solaris specialists on a
project together. The idea took root to combine their expertise and
create a broad base of knowledge.Contacts from University and prior projects were reactivated, and programming, administration, and applications experts recruited. The result: the company SunConsulting. A special characteristic of the company is the network structure. This allows us to put teams together quickly which are custom tailored to meet the requirements of each project. At SunConsulting, a wide spectrum of experience is available. Knowledge can be accessed quickly and the number of contacts increase exponentially so that we can provide the best solution to each problem. Parallel to SunConsultig's network structure, a virtual company structure is in development: no centralized office, no costly administration- instead- time recording and invoices via Internet and a network of fully equipped apartments on site for the duration of the project. This reduces the fixed costs and SunConsulting can pass the savings on to the customer. Our potential clients like our concepts and most of all our Service and reliability: SunConsulting is acquiring a good reputation and, as a result, is receiving work orders from many noteworthy companies. At the end of 2001, SunConsulting, Inc., became ,
Inc. This is supposed to avoid confusion with Sun and to emphasize
our proficiency in many platforms, without being dependent on any
specific one.
